Upload a JPEG, PNG, or HEIC image to view its embedded EXIF metadata: camera model, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, timestamps, and GPS coordinates. One click opens the GPS location in Google Maps; another strips all metadata and downloads a clean copy.

Features

Frequently Asked Questions

Which image formats are supported?
JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, and WebP (anything the exifr library supports). EXIF most commonly lives in JPEGs from cameras and phones.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. Parsing and the optional strip-and-re-encode step both run entirely in your browser. The image never leaves your device.
Does 'Strip EXIF' preserve image quality?
The image is re-encoded via canvas at 95% JPEG quality or lossless PNG. Quality is near-identical; dimensions are unchanged.
