Frequently Asked Questions
- What formats are accepted?
- Unix seconds, milliseconds, or microseconds (auto-detected by magnitude), ISO 8601 (2026-04-15T10:30:00Z), RFC 2822, any format Date() accepts, and relative phrases like '5 minutes ago' or '2 hours from now'.
- How is the unit auto-detected?
- By magnitude: values over 10¹⁴ are treated as microseconds, over 10¹¹ as milliseconds, otherwise as seconds. This covers any realistic 20th/21st century timestamp.
- Does it handle my timezone?
- Yes. Local times are formatted using your browser's resolved timezone. UTC is also always shown alongside.
